As a Disney Visa card holder and planning to attend their character meet n greet, is it necessary to attend a character dining event as well or will the meet n greet suffice?

    Greetings Michelle!

Meeting a Disney Character is such a great way of creating magical memories!
The Disneyland Resort has several opportunities for meet and greets with your favorite characters.
I love taking my boys to Critter Country where they can say hi and take pictures with Winnie the Pooh and Friends. Plus, the adjacent Pooh Corner store has a variety of sweet treats to make any mommy smile!

As far as the Disney Premier Visa Cardmember Character Experience, I can tell you it's a wonderful benefit available at the Disney California Adventure Park. There is also a Star Wars Character Experience available at the Disneyland Park for Disney Premier Visa Cardmembers. Keep in mind that these character experiences are limited to a few minutes in order to allow for the next family to take their pictures and keep the lines moving.

On the other hand, a Disney Character Dining Experience is also very magical because you don't only get to savor some yummy food, the characters actually walk to your table and hang out, signing autographs, taking pictures and even posing for silly selfies. On occasion, the characters will finish making their rounds and come back to your table for a second visit!

All this to say, it's certainly not easy to pick one character experience over another but I hope I helped put things into perspective for you!
