    Is I use my Disney Visa card to build a Droid at the depot, does this count as 10% merchandise? Just trying to decided to use a giftcardbir my visa. Thanks

    Thanks for stopping by planDisney as you get ready to travel to a galaxy far, far away when you visit Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios!  

    My family and I visited Droid Depot on a recent vacation and each of my boys enjoyed creating new friends.  With so many options to customize, each droid became a unique souvenir that reflected their personalities!  Besides the experience of building, our whole family loved watching the droids interact with each other as we traveled around Black Spire Outpost.  Reservations are recommended for this popular experience, so I would suggest checking availability on the Walt Disney World Website if you haven't already!  

    Your Disney Visa Card has many great benefits while visiting Walt Disney World Resort including discounts on select merchandise, dining, recreation, and tours.  Unfortunately, I was able to confirm with a Cast Member that Droid Depot does not offer any discounts, including those through the Disney Visa Card.  However, while you're at Disney's Hollywood Studios, don't forget to stop by Star Wars Launch Bay in the Animation Courtyard for a character meeting exclusive to Disney Visa Cardmembers.  As a bonus, free photo downloads are also included!  Currently, this meeting is available from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM and you must show your card to enter, but you'll want to check and confirm those times closer to your visit.  I never miss special Cardmember character meets in the parks!  

    During your visit to Black Spire Outpost, I'd highly recommend grabbing a bite to eat from Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo.  It's one of my favorite Quick-Service dining options in all of Walt Disney World Resort. I like utilizing Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering in the My Disney Experience Mobile App when dining here to maximize my time at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  You could even mobile order your food while building your droid!
