    Disney veterans, and DS is almost 13 and not too excited about getting his face painted as a pirate (again, Mom?!) Need some "off-the-beaten-path" ideas to engage my Wordly teen. Love the panel, thanks!

    Hi Jennifer!

    Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel. 

    I have a 13 year old son and his favorite thing to do at Walt Disney World is renting a Sea Raycer boat on the Seven Seas Lagoon or Bay Lake. He can easily spend a couple of hours out there on two or more afternoons. He also loves going to the water park over the theme parks; his favorite is Typhoon Lagoon. He also loves going to see La Nouba in Downtown Disney and also spending a couple of hours in DisneyQuest. Finally he likes exploring Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground by bicycle and canoe.  You might also consider fishing on Bay Lake if your child enjoys fishing!
