    I am a Disney veteran, but will be travelling May 19 - May 25 with my daughter (5) (One-on-One) for the last time before a new baby arrives. I was wondering what your best recommendation would be for something new to make the trip extra special? Thanks

    Hi Jason!

    Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel. 

    It might help to send in another question with what activities you have done with your daughter in the past. I am going to assume you have done the usual activities suitable for young girls. The one activity that really comes to mind is the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage. It is a fabulous event and something my family wants to do on every trip to Walt Disney World. I also mention this because when my youngest son was 5, he was absolutely scared to death of fireworks. However, he enjoyed watching them from a boat on the Seven Seas Lagoon or from the beach on the Polynesian Resort. Your daughter might be the same. 

    My youngest son also always enjoy renting a Sea Raycer and exploring both Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake. I recommend renting a boat from the Contemporary if you want to do this.
