Hi Sai Saranya! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for stopping by with such a great question!
With a split stay at two fantastic Resort Hotels, it sounds like your planning is off to a practically perfect start. I love a split stay, and my family and I stay at two (or more!) different Resorts on almost every Walt Disney World vacation. It's the best way to enjoy the different theming and amenities at each Resort and is like two vacations in one! I'm thrilled to answer your question today to help you maximize your time and magic when splitting your stay.
Bell Services can transfer luggage from one
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel to another, however, unfortunately, the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel is not a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel. Therefore, Bell Services will not be able to transfer your luggage during your upcoming split stay. But Hakuna Matata! It means "no worries." I have been in this situation and have some suggestions for you!
I recommend using a rideshare service to transfer your luggage and your travel party to your next Hotel, and my favorite way is using a
Minnie Van via the Lyft app. The Minnie Van will quickly bring you door to door from one Resort Hotel to the next, the vehicles are always large enough for my family's luggage, and you arrive in polka dot style.
Once you arrive at Art of Animation Resort, if your room is not yet ready, just have Bell Services hold your luggage for you! Then, you're free to go play in the parks and let your magical day begin. Just be sure to pack a park bag with anything you may need that day, such as medication, sunscreen or swimsuits. Once you're done having fun, just call Bell Services from your room, and they'll bring your things right to you. It's as easy as bibbidi bobbidi boo!
I hope this was helpful, Sai Saranya, and I hope you have the most magical and memorable split stay. Like Tiana, you're almost there! Stop by any time with any questions you may have along the way. You've got a friend in planDisney.
Blue skies and sunshine,
Mandy
