Hiya, Mary! First, let me offer you a warm welcome back to planDisney and welcome to the Passholder family! I'm so excited for you and so happy to see you back here with another great planning question.
Mary, are you already
loving being a
Walt Disney World Passholder?! I know you must be! The magic called me to become a Passholder, too, and I have not regretted one single magical moment. Knowing that I can just make Theme Park Reservations and head to my happy place time and time again truly brings joy and magic to my everyday life, and I'm thrilled for you to have this same feeling. Now, let's chat about your first magical adventure as a Passholder!
In my experience of having both theme park tickets and an Annual Pass linked to my profile on my
My Disney Experience account, the Annual Pass is typically prioritized and used automatically when I tap into one of the theme parks. But Hakuna Matata! It means "no worries!" You can simply stop by any
Guest Relations location outside of the theme parks or at Disney Springs and let the Cast Member know that you would like to prioritize and use your theme park tickets and not the Annual Pass on this trip.
After that is done and you tap into the theme parks, the system should begin using your park tickets, but I definitely recommend double-checking that your ticket was used and your Annual Pass was not activated after you are in the theme parks. To do this, just log into your My Disney Experience app, tap the three-line menu icon at the bottom of the screen and then the "Tickets and Passes" tile. Now, just make sure that a day of your multi-day theme park ticket was used for entry and that your Annual Pass has not been activated. Now, you should be all set! Let the magic begin!
I hope this was helpful, Mary, and I hope you have the most magical upcoming vacation and pixie-dusted year! Please stop by any time with any questions you may have along the way. We are always more than happy to help.
Life is the bubbles,
Mandy
