    Hi! Had our 1st disney vacation in Feb this year and planning our next for March 3-9 2012 Wanted to book POR with the free dining but wanted to get a royal room but only garden view comes up. Can I book now but ask for an upgrade to get the royal room?

    Hi Wendi!

    I called Disney and confirmed some dates for you.  The Royal Rooms are available for booking in their system on March 4, 2012.  If you are requesting March 3-9, it won't allow you to book that room as it doesn't 'exist' in their system until March 4, 2012.  (does that make sense?)  The agent I spoke with suggested that you book a one night say for March 3, and then your Royal Room starting March 4 (if there is availability).
