How much do Disney Vacation Club memberships cost

    Hiya, Emily!

Welcome back to planDisney.  How exciting that you're considering Disney Vacation Club Membership!  As a 20+ year Disney Vacation Club Member, I can honestly say it's one of the best decisions my family has ever made.  Not only do we have access to luxury accommodations and incredible Member Benefits each time we visit a Disney Vacation Club Resort, but we have the ability to create magical Disney experiences, year after year, in whatever way works best for our family.  Whether we choose to stay in an overwater Bungalow at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, set sail with Disney Cruise Line, or explore the world with Adventures by Disneyour Disney Vacation Club Membership can make it happen.

When you decide to become a Disney Vacation Club Member, you'll purchase the number of Vacation Points that you decide fits your family best –– each year, you'll receive that annual allotment of Points to use however you'd like.  The primary cost of DVC Membership depends on how many Vacation Points you choose to buy and which Resort you select as your Home Resort.  Initially, you'll pay a certain price per Point for your Membership –– this is a one-time fee, which can be paid as a lump sum or financed with a deposit (restrictions apply).  Remember that this is a real estate transaction, so you'll also need to factor in closing costs.  In addition to that upfront cost, you'll also have Annual Dues –– which include property taxes, Resort operating costs, and more –– that be paid each year.  You'll have the option to pay these as a lump sum or monthly, depending on what works best for you.  After your initial, per-Point amount has been paid in full, Annual Dues are the only ongoing cost of DVC Membership.

Since this is just a very basic overview, I recommend reaching out to Disney Vacation Club for more information about the benefits and cost of Membership.  You'll be connected with a Guide who can help you personalize your experience and decide what will work best for your family.  You can set up a virtual meeting online by visiting the Disney Vacation Club website, or you can learn more by calling (800) 500-3990.  The Guides are so knowledgeable and they'll be with you every step of the way as you become a Member –– they make the process easy from start to finish!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Emily.  I hope this helped to answer your question and I'm wishing you lots of magical Membership adventures in the future!
