Walt Disney World Resort - I know that the recent transportation updates have raised a lot of questions, but never fear, we'll get you sorted out in a jiffy!
Disney's Old Key West Resort is such a cool spot. The OG DVC destination with tropical vibes for days, the resort is a perfect place to relax and unwind after a hot day in the parks. Old Key West also has a bonus
transportation option, with Guests able to take a peaceful ride on the Sassagoula River Cruise to travel to
Disney Springs,
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, and the two Port Orleans resorts.
Emma, a new rule went into effect this week that limits the buses and boats departing from Disney Springs to Guests with a confirmed reservation at a Walt Disney World resort hotel, a dining reservation, or an
Enchanted Extras booking. You will encounter checkpoints before boarding either transportation option to verify your reservation.
Since you are staying at Old Key West, you should have no problems traveling to Saratoga Springs via bus or boat. I do not recommend driving your own vehicle, as parking may be limited during the busy holiday weekend to Guests staying at Saratoga or dining at a restaurant with confirmed reservations.
