Hi Elizabeth!
Welcome Home and thank you for stopping by planDisney! As your planDisney Genie, I'm here for your wish fulfillment and to help answer your excellent question. Elizabeth, don't you just love how Disney Vacation Club Membership can show you the world? There are so many ways to experience a dazzling place you never knew with the exchange program through Disney Vacation Club. In fact, my own family has used it to walk in the footsteps of Mozart in Vienna, Austria, learn the art of skiing like Goofy in Breckenridge, Colorado, and even enjoy a hunt for movie stars like Mickey in Santa Monica, California, all through our DVC exchanges.
Elizabeth, Disney Vacation Club recently stopped using the Concierge Collection in exchange for a new partnership with
Interval International. You can still access most of the same hotels that were in the Concierge Collection, but the booking process is now through this new system. If you held a previously booked reservation with a Concierge Collection hotel, it is still being honored but new bookings are now going through Interval International.
You don't have to look over, sideways, and under for it. Let me share this whole new world with you, Elizabeth, for finding the information you need.
When you log into the
Disney Vacation Club website, select "Destinations" and then under Worldwide Stays you can choose "Hotel Exchange." From here you will see a few options for different types of vacation stays but if you scroll down, you will see
"Hotel Exchange" and can select "Search Now," which will take you to the search page. There is a tab at the top that says
"Resort Directory" and you can narrow your list down to the worldwide region and even state where you are looking for the hotel.
Once you find the Resort you would like to book, you can request it on the Interval International site. But if you have trouble, soar on over to
DVC Member Services who can help you make the booking.
I hope this helps you find the vacation of your dreams, Elizabeth. If you have any further Disney Vacation Club questions or Disney vacation planning questions,
fly back here and see me and I'll be so happy to help you.
Enjoy finding new horizons to pursue!
Keri
