what is the disney vacation club

    Hi Ellen,
Disney Vacation Club is a timeshare where you purchase vacation points instead of weeks.  Guests become members with the purchase of a real estate interest in a Disney Vacation Club Resort.  This membership provides you and your family the flexibility to change your vacation experiences as your family grows and changes over time.  You can choose to stay at the one or the Disney Vacation Club resorts on Walt Disney World property or travel to California, North Carolina, and now even Hawaii.  You can stay at a deluxe studio, a one or two bedroom villas furnished with a full kitchen and washer and dryer.  You can use your points toward a Disney Cruise or even an Adventures by Disney trip.  You can choose also from over 500 Member Getaways worldwide.  To find out more about Disney Vacation Club, I would encourage you to stop by a kiosk at Walt Disney World when you are on vacation and schedule a tour.  You can also call DVC and speak directly with a Cast Member at (877) 382-7826.  The hours are Monday through Thursday (EST) from 8:30 am - 11:00 pm and Friday and Saturday from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm.  Or visit DVC online at www.disneyvacationclub.com/moms
Please send me a follow up question, Ellen, if I can help you further.  This was truly the best decision we have made as a family and has changed the way we have vacationed.  I love being a DVC member!
