Our Disney vacation is beginning on New Years Eve. We already have our Theme Park Reservations for the Magic Kingdom. We don’t plan on heading to the park until the early evening. Will we still be admitted to the park if they’ve already reached capacity?

    Greetings, Danielle!

Welcome to planDisney! Ringing in the new year at Magic Kingdom Park is sure to start 2023 off with magic. I cannot think of a better place to celebrate. The evening closes with fabulous fireworks and projections that are sure to impress. Your planning is off to a great start. Having a Disney Park Pass reservation for Magic Kingdom Park means you can enter at any time, even if the park is full. The reservation guarantees your spot for the entire day. So go ahead and sleep in to prepare for the evening festivities, your place is reserved.

Be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as your trip gets closer. This will be your go-to source for all of the exciting events and celebration offerings coming to Walt Disney World Resort during the week of the new year. Traditionally there are fun DJ dance parties throughout the evening, special food options, and of course an unbeatable nighttime spectacular. It will be a night to remember!

I hope your New Year's Eve is memorable and magical!
    We'll see ya real soon!
