    When does Disney usually decorate the parks for Christmas?

    Hi, Kelly!

    Mickey Mouse simply loves the holiday season. He makes sure the parks and resorts are decked out to their fullest. It is truly magical and my favorite time of the year to visit Walt Disney World.

    The day after Halloween, all the fall décor is removed and the Christmas season begins! It is a huge job, so the complete transformation is not usually complete until close to Thanksgiving. The Magic Kingdom always seems to be the first to become festive, as Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party usually starts by early November.

    I simply love the Christmas trees that are displayed in the Disney resort hotels. My two favorites are at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa and Disney's Fort Wilderness Lodge. If you get a chance to pop into either of these resorts during the holiday season, it will definitely be worth the trip!

    All good things must come to an end, so the decorations start to come down during the first week of January. Hopefully you will get a chance to celebrate the holidays with Mickey, Santa, and all their pals! Merry Christmas!
