Is Disney still using the fast pass system?

    Hey Bill!

A warm welcome to planDisney. Thank you for visiting us with your great question about FastPass+ service.

Bill, FastPass+ service has been permanently retired in Walt Disney World Resort. At the current time, there are no plans to ever reinstate FastPass+ service in any of the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks.

However, this fall, Disney Genie service, Disney Genie+, and Lightning Lane entrances are debuting in Walt Disney World Resort.

Disney Genie is a complimentary new service that will take the guesswork out of planning the “practically perfect” Disney day!

Additionally, for $15 per day, per ticket, Disney Genie+ service will allow you to choose the next available time to arrive at a variety of Walt Disney World Resort attractions and experiences using the Lightning Lane entrance. The Lightning Lane entrance lets you bypass the standby queue and get to the fun faster!

Bill, I hope this helps answer your question. If you have any other questions, please visit planDisney again. We are always hEAR to help you!
