We will be going to Disney in two weeks with our children and one of my daughters has an egg allergy. Is there any way to find out if snacks such as soft serve ice cream, pretzels, dole whips, etc contain eggs?

    Hi Todd,

You'll be at Disney World in TWO WEEKS!!!  That is so exciting!!!  I can tell you that Disney World Resort's culinary team is dedicated to creating great dining experiences for every one of their Guests.

At Quick Service restaurants or snack counters, please tell the Castmember behind the counter what your concerns are.  A manager will bring you a book with lists of all of the ingredients that each menu item contains.

You can also email Special.Diets@disneyworld.com to let the dining team know that there is a food allergy in your party.  They will correspond with you and together you can figure out what the safest options for snacks and meals are.  They are 100% prepared for all types for food allergies and dietary restrictions, so I really don't want you to worry.

Also, when making Advanced Dining Reservations please have the Castmember you are speaking with (or note online) that there is a person with an egg allergy in your party.  When you arrive at the restaurant, tell your server and the chef will come out to speak with you personally about the allergy.  Together, you'll be able to decide on her meal.

I hope this helps, Todd.  Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel.  Have a wonderful vacation!
