Hi Shannon! Welcome to planDisney!
How exciting! Is this baby's first visit to
Walt Disney World Resort? Not much can be more magical than seeing your toddler's face light up the first time they board
"it's a small world" or
Frozen Ever After! Everything is magical at this age! I've taken each of my three children around 2 years old and every trip was so full of memories.
You're absolutely right that your 2-year-old does not need a
Theme Park Ticket to enter any of the four Theme Parks or two
Water Parks. They are at the practically perfect age where they can glide right through those turnstiles until they turn three, making this the best time to visit! Since toddlers do not need a Ticket, they also do not need a
Park Pass Reservation. Hopefully, you and the other adult in your party have already made your Park Pass Reservations, but if not, do so as soon as possible, as some Parks have been reaching capacity lately.
Did you know that little ones under age 3 also eat for free at buffet and family-style restaurants? If you decide to have some
up-close-and-personal experiences with your toddler's favorite character pals at a family-style dining experience, he or she can share right from your plate or make her own full of her favorites. Just remember to include the little one on your reservation, making you a complete party of 3.
Hollywood & Vine at Disney's Hollywood Studios is one of our favorites for little ones because we get to see Minnie AND our Disney Junior friends!
While you can certainly make your 2-year-old a profile on
My Disney Experience, it is not necessary and is totally up to you! Even if you decide to use the new
Disney Genie+ Service, your 2-year-old will just follow along and be able to do everything you are doing!
I hope you enjoy your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth and come home with the most perfect memories!
