    Hi! 1st Disney trip and would like to surprise son(5) and mother on their bday. Was thinking Pirates & Pals cruise or Family Magic Tour. Dds 8,10 and dh in our group. Not fluent in english but I'll help them. Staying 6 days with half at MK. Ideas? Tha

    Love that you want to surprise your son &  mom on their birthdays with something special! You've chosen 2 really cool things.  Here are a couple of thoughts before you make your decision.

    The Family Magic Tour is lots of fun. Tours at Disney World are lead in English; however, you can request a translation device in which you can chose the language you'd like to hear the tour in. If you book this tour, be sure to mention that so they can note it on your reservation. Be sure to also mention it when you arrive for your tour. There is no additional charge for this service.

    The Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage is totally awesome!  It is the best place ever to watch the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom. I've recommended this special experience to a lot of Guests & everyone has loved it. There are so many things I love about this experience but one of the big bonuses for families with small children is that you are far enough away from the fireworks that you don't hear the big booms that you hear when watching inside the MK. The music on board the boat is synchronized to the fireworks just like in the MK. You also have the advantage of not being in a sea of people watching the fireworks but comfortably seated with a great view. You don't have to fight the crowds afterwards either. To see a video regarding this awesome experience click here.
