Hello, Bethzaida! Thank you for reaching out to planDisney with your question.
I see that you are coming to the
Walt Disney World Resort in September. So exciting! This year,
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at
Magic Kingdom Park will be taking place on select nights in September. I highly recommend you look into this special event as it's usually a highlight for me. Also, the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival will be running in September as well, and that's my favorite festival at
EPCOT (I have a soft spot for the originals). You'll also want to stay tuned to the
Disney Parks Blog in case
Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana will be open in EPCOT when you are there. If it isn't, you'll likely be able to say hello to
Moana herself at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park instead!
Most of the amenities and activities at the
Disney Resorts Collection Hotels are intended for the use of Guests staying at these hotels. In fact, you would have to scan your
MagicBand or ticket media to get into the pools...so if you're not staying there, you wouldn't be allowed to go into the pools. You are welcome to visit the resorts as long as you have an
advanced dining reservation at one of their restaurants. You can always feel free to arrive a little earlier or stay a little later to explore the resort and shop in the gift shops. There are some activities that you may be allowed to partake in, but I would check with the front desk as policies are always subject to change and may be different from resort to resort. Please note that you will not be allowed to park at a resort unless you have a dining reservation there.
The Disney Resorts Collection Hotels are truly destinations unto themselves. If you have not yet booked your hotel, I highly recommend considering staying at one of these resorts. They each have unique theming, their own charm, and great amenities. There are also options for all different budgets, from
value to
moderate to
deluxe accommodations.
Bethzaida, I hope you have a wonderful visit to the resort. Be sure to
reach out to me again if you have any other questions.
Being normal is vastly overrated,
Matt
