We have a Disney trip booked for Sept 2018, staying at All Star Sports. We have a breakfast reservation at Chef Mickey's for 7:10 am (I know early right?). Wondering if the busses even run that early or what my best options for transportation are?

    Hi Kara,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. I love early mornings at Walt Disney World – there is nothing like a Disney sunrise!

Kara, I’m going to tell you a secret: there are usually early buses at the Walt Disney World Resort hotels. While Disney doesn’t publish this information, each resort has an early bus schedule that is just for Guests like you, with early dining reservations. Be sure to ask the front desk staff at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort for the best way to get to your 7:10 a.m. Chef Mickey’s reservation; they are the experts on the bus schedules and can tell you when and where to be so you can get to those Mickey waffles without delay. Your main option will be the Disney Bus, but if you wanted to take a more direct (and potentially faster) route, you could take a taxi from your resort to Disney’s Contemporary Resort. The Cast Members at your resort can help you with arranging a taxi too.

Enjoy your breakfast with Mickey and his pals. If you’re not planning to head over to Magic Kingdom Park when you are finished, I hope you will grab an amazing cupcake from Contempo Café (to go, since you will be super full) and then take a monorail ride around the resort loop. It’s just the perfect, iconic Walt Disney World morning – are you sure I can’t fit in your suitcase?

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
