Our Disney triip will include a holiday ( Memorial Day). We have always visited in October; now I am worrying about the crowds. My question is this..I have heard that on a holiday it is best to go to a water park like Blizzard Beach. Is this true ?

    Hi Caroline!

The end of May, including Memorial Day, isn't a particularly busy time at the Walt Disney World Resort.  My personal belief is that holiday is close to the end of the school year, and a lot of families would rather come for a longer period of time after schools are out than a shorter vacation around that holiday.  However, generally speaking, it will be hotter that weekend than your normal vacations in October.

If you are worried about crowds and want to visit a theme park, then I suggests visiting Epcot.  Epcot is physically very large and capable of absorbing a lot of people.  Again, I don't think you'll have a problem over Memorial Day, but here's an option if you are worried about it.  Visiting a water park is also an excellent idea.

Enjoy planning and write back if you have any more questions!
