I am going to be in Disney 5/31 to 6/7/2009. i am traveling with a 4 yr old. i am trying to make food reservations and not sure of times to aim for and dont want to go without reservations. Can anyone advise me?

Hi Anna - I think the answer to your question really depends upon your family's habits.  I have a two year old and a four year old, so I can let you know what usually works for us.

For breakfast, we either choose an early breakfast (approximately 8 a.m.) or a late breakfast (around 11 a.m.).  My kids are always up early so it's never difficult to make it to an early reservation.  If we choose a late breakfast, we always have a snack at the resort before heading to the parks.

For lunch, we try for before noon, if possible.  On days we have lunch plans, we just grab a quick breakfast at the resort.  Since my kids still nap, we try to get back to our resort as close to 1 p.m. as possible.

We prefer 5:30 p.m. if possible, for dinner.  That way, we can have a nice dinner, hit a few more attractions, and then make it back to the resort for my kids' bedtime.

I hope that helps!  I definitely recommend that you make reservations as soon as possible so that you can get the times you want.
