Does the Disney travel insurance cover flight cancellation as well?

    Hello, Nicole!

I want to wish you a warm welcome back to planDisney. I am so very glad that you continue to send your questions our way. As someone who is all about planning, I know how important those details on things like travel insurance can be!

The Travel Protection Plan offered by Walt Disney World is state-specific. I see that you have selected Minnesota as your location, so I will use that as a starting point. I highly recommend that you spend time viewing the specific terms and conditions to determine if this is the right policy for you and your travel party. Currently, the plan does include coverage for the cost of airfare. When booking your trip, be sure to review the policy before confirming your purchase. Plans and policies are subject to change, and it never hurts to double-check before checking out!

I noticed that you listed your arrival just as the holiday season is being at The Most Magical Place on Earth. What a great time to visit! The festivities are available throughout the theme parks and resorts. Life-sized gingerbread houses and themed Christmas trees adorn hotel lobbies. Main Street U.S.A. makes way for Santa Clause and you may even see snow in front of Cinderella Castle. I am so excited for you!

I hope that this information is helpful and you can continue to make your travels plans with ease.
    See ya real soon!
