Hi there, Olivia!
Welcome to planDisney! I’m glad you stopped by with your question. Planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is such an exciting adventure, and we’re here to help guide you every step of the way.
When it comes to booking your magical getaway, Walt Disney World doesn’t offer a traditional travel agent service, but that doesn’t mean you’re on your own! There are two paths you can take.
First, if you’re a do-it-yourself type, the official Walt Disney World website and the My Disney Experience app are fantastic tools. You can book your Disney Resorts Collection hotel, purchase theme park tickets, make dining reservations, and even manage Disney Genie and Lightning Lane selections all from the palm of your hand. The Vacation Planning page on the Disney website is especially helpful, walking you through each major planning step, from choosing your resort to selecting the best dining plan for your crew.
But if you’re looking for a little extra assistance, you’ve come to the right place. At planDisney, our goal is to help Guests plan the perfect Disney vacation. From helping you select the perfect Disney Resort to fit your family and budget to providing you with suggestions on which rides to prioritize with your Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you’ve got a friend in me (us). My suggestion would be to start by researching the various Disney Resort options in all categories (Value, Moderate, and Deluxe). To help you get started, let’s take a quick look at a few of my favorite resorts in each Disney Resorts Collection category:
- Value: Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is my go-to pick here! The immersive theming makes it a hit with families, and the spacious family suites are perfect if you're traveling with a larger group. Plus, it’s on the Disney Skyliner route for easy access to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
- Moderate: Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort offers a laid-back island vibe with beautiful landscaping, sandy beaches, and a fantastic pool. It’s also the central hub of the Disney Skyliner, giving you quick and scenic transportation to two theme parks.
- Deluxe: Disney’s Beach Club Resort has that elegant New England charm, plus it’s just a short stroll away from EPCOT’s International Gateway entrance, perfect for catching the fireworks or grabbing a bite at one of the incredible EPCOT festivals. And let’s not forget the amazing Stormalong Bay pool, which feels more like a mini water park!
So, Olivia, as you can see, while Disney itself doesn’t offer a personal travel agent service, you’ve still got plenty of support to make your vacation dreams come true, whether it’s from helpful planning tools or friendly Guests like us here at planDisney who love sharing our favorite tips and tricks!

See you real soon,
