How can I get a Disney Travel Agent to help with my plans?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kathleen!

Using a travel agent who specializes in Disney vacation planning can be an invaluable resource, and I've used one a few times myself. One thing I always look for when selecting an agency is that they are Authorized Disney Vacation Planners, which means that they have completed an in-depth training course created by Disney. The best way to find one is by doing an internet search. Many agencies write Disney travel blogs or have Social Media pages, so you can get an idea of planning styles and personalities this way. I'd also suggest speaking to an agent on the phone. Many will give you online quotes, but I always like to have a personal conversation before booking.

Besides the fact that their services are free, one of the reasons many Guests like to use a Travel Agent is because they are experts at finding Special Offers, such as Free Dining or Room Only Discounts.  Another great perk is that agents are happy to make Advance Dining Reservations for you 180 days before your trip (there's nothing better than waking up and seeing your agent scored that breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table). And they'll coordinate your dining to work with your FastPass+ selections, and special activities like Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.  They will make sure that you have all your details set up, such as Disney's Magical Express. Many agents will also give great advice on little things like how to get groceries delivered to your room or provide information on renting strollers.

Good luck finding a Travel Agent, Kathleen!  Remember, we're always here for you, so please come back with any more planning questions!

Meet the Panelist: Eean, Pennsylvania

Hi, I'm Eean from Pennsylvania!  I may have an unusual name, but my passion for Disney is not unique.  It’s amazing how many people you can find who love talking about, "The Most Magical Place On Earth!"  I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at middle school basketball games waiting for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
