Hi there, Shari!
Welcome to planDisney. We're delighted you've stopped by with an excellent
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question! I always love assisting fellow Michiganders with their Disney Destinations plans. Let's discuss how to take advantage of one of the best
Disney Resort hotel deals out there: bounceback offers!
Shari, as someone who also lives in the Mitten State, I can agree that planning (and taking) Walt Disney World Resort vacations is a great way to get through those long winter months. Bounceback offers (also known as "Future Stay Offers") allow Guests to book their next Disney Resort hotel reservations for select dates at a highly discounted rate when booked either during or immediately after their current stay. Shari, I checked in with a friendly Cast Member to get the details on bounceback booking. Whether a travel agent can book a bounceback offer on behalf of a Guest depends on how the original reservation was made. If a Guest's current stay was booked via a travel agent, then their bounceback stay can be booked by their travel agent or the Guest. However, if a Guest made their current reservation on their own, then their bounceback stay must also be booked on their own.
The current bounceback offer allows Guests to save up to 35% on their next room-only Resort hotel reservation when booked within seven days of their original checkout date. To take advantage of this offer, Guests should either: dial the extension provided on the bounceback offer handout in their Resort hotel room, call the
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations phone line, or have their travel agent book their next stay in that timeframe. Shari, when I have access to a fantastic special offer, I view it as an opportunity to "plus up" my vacation. Perhaps you could consider a stay at one of the
Deluxe Resort hotels or
Deluxe Villa Resorts!?
Shari, I hope this information helps you to book your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation! I wish you happy holidays and wonder-filled winter months (hopefully filled with visits to Disney Destinations). If you have any additional planning questions, you're always welcome to return to
planDisney. You can also
reach out to me directly if you'd prefer. As a fellow Michigan resident and Walt Disney World Resort enthusiast, you've got a friend in me!
See ya real soon,
Lauren
