    Does any of the disney transportation go directly from downtown disney to a park or do you have to go to a resort first and transfer?

    Hi Amie,

    You have asked a very good question! Unfortunately, you do have to make a transfer to go from Downtown Disney to one of the theme parks. One of my favorite tools in trying to figure out the transportation from one location to another and how long travel time will be is the "transporation wizard" at www.ourlaughingplace.com. When you go to this website, in the upper righthand corner, you will see a link for it. Click on that link and you can input your originating location and your desired destination and click "find route". Often, it will give you several options and the estimated travel time for each.

    Don't forget to ask a cast member if you ever get confused or need a little more guidance. I have found many of the bus/boat drivers extremely helpful if I ever got turned around or needed a little more information on how to get somewhere the quickest!
