Is there any Disney transportation from the Disney World resorts in Orlando to the Disney cruise port in Fort Lauderdale? I know this question was answered in October 2023. Is the answer the same in summer 2025?

Welcome to planDisney, Rebecca! Thank you for your question.

Currently, there is no Disney ground transportation available from the Walt Disney World Resort to Port Everglades for cruises departing from Fort Lauderdale. The high-speed train service Brightline is an option from Orlando to Fort Lauderdale, though.  From the train station, you can take a rideshare to Port Everglades. While I have not ridden it, I have friends who have, and they have had positive experiences.

If your plans change and you decide to arrive in Fort Lauderdale at least a day early, you can book a pre-hotel stay at the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa or Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina. From there, you can purchase Disney transportation to take you to Port Everglades. You can also book Disney transportation directly from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport on embarkation day and back to the airport on debarkation day.

Rebecca, I hope this helps you plan the right transportation option for your upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation. If you have any other questions, sail back and visit us at planDisney.

    Happy Sailing!
