Is Disney transportation from Disney springs going to check your hotel reservation from now on?

Hey Allen, and welcome to planDisney! Your question is an important one, especially given recent reports from Disney Springs.

There has been no official change to Disney's policies regarding use of the monorail, the Skyliner, Disney bus transportation, or watercraft transportation. Guests who are not staying at a Disney Resort hotel are encouraged to park their car in a theme park lot and use Disney transportation from there. Spring Break is one of the busiest seasons at Disney World, so the recent reservation checks were likely a result of the increased crowds. I've heard from other panelists that this is a common practice during the winter holidays as well, especially the week of Christmas and New Year's Eve. Rest assured that Disney transportation remains complimentary, and you can always get directions in the My Disney Experience app or ask a Cast Member about transportation options. Also, Minnie Vans are available as a paid option and can take guests anywhere they need to go while on Disney property.

I hope this information helps clarify transportation availability and options, Allen! We're happy to answer any additional questions you may have to ensure your visit is practically perfect in every way.

    Stay magical,
    Scott
