How much is disney Transport from animal kingdom Lodge to port canaveral for a cruise? And how do we book?

Cheers, Samantha, and welcome back to planDisney! It looks like you might have a practically perfect land and sea vacation planned and I’m thrilled to be able to help with your transportation question.

Depending on how you booked your cruise, you can book shuttle service through your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App, on the Disney Cruise Line website, or by calling a Disney Cast Member. At this time, the cost is $45 per person each way for Guests 3 and over (prices subject to change). If your voyage has already been paid in full, I recommend calling Disney Cruise Line directly.

If you used an outside travel agent, you would need to contact them directly to book your ground transportation. Keep in mind, travel agents may assess booking fees in addition to the cost of the transfer.

If you decide to schedule ground transportation through Disney Cruise Line, you will receive an email 24 hours before departure explaining the time and location of where to board the shuttle. You will also find instructions for what to do with your luggage in that same email.

I love how easy Disney makes the transition from their Resort hotels to the port. Just make sure to keep your travel documents and important items like medications with you in a carry-on bag. I also like to pack some fun items in my personal bag so our family can start having fun the minute we step onto the ship. This includes our swimsuits, sunglasses, sunscreen, and even Disney pins to trade. Even though your stateroom is typically ready around 1:30 on embarkation day, your luggage may not be delivered until a few hours later.

The Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of my favorite resorts on property, so you’re already guaranteed to have a great start to your holiday! If you haven’t selected your room type already, may I suggest the Savanna View? There’s nothing quite like waking up and enjoying a cup of tea on your balcony with a giraffe out your window. Likewise, I also love starting my mornings at sea by ordering a complimentary Room Service breakfast and sitting on my verandah.

Truly, no matter how you decide to spend your time, I know a magical adventure awaits you. If you think of any other ways we can add a spoonful of sugar to your trip, I hope you’ll fly back to us here at planDisney!

    Embrace the magic,
