Hi Brittany,
Thank you for visiting us at planDisney. Christmas is my absolute favorite time at Walt Disney World Resort, there is nothing more magical than seeing
Cinderella Castle dressed in her holiday finest!
The transformation from Halloween to Christmas seems like it literally happens over night. In the past, the transformation begins at Magic Kingdom Park after the last Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on November 1st and is complete for the first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party which takes place roughly a week later. Decorations will appear throughout the rest of Walt Disney World Resort during the same time frame. My daughter and I were lucky enough to be at Walt Disney World Resort a few years ago when they were building the Gingerbread House at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, we were captivated by the craftsmanship and artistry that went in to building such a magnificent piece of art.
If you are planning on visiting Walt Disney World Resort during the holiday season, I would highly recommend visiting
Disney Springs to experience the Christmas Tree Trail. We could spend hours wandering through the trail marveling at the exquisite details of every tree. We couldn't choose a favorite, they were all beautiful!
I hope you have a magical time at Walt Disney World Resort this holiday season Brittany. Please let us know if you have any other questions as your vacation approaches, we are always happy to help.
