Will Disney transfer my luggage from Grand Floridian to a Disney Springs resort?

    Hi Timothy,

Glad you stopped by today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Are you ready to go south and escape the New Jersey winter? I surely am!

A couple of years ago we had could not decide between hotels and finally had the chance to do a "split stay" between Disney's Contemporary Resort and Disney's Beach Club Resort. We liked it so much, the following year we did it again, this time between Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. And transferring the luggage was super easy, and only took a call to Bell Services. We then left for the Theme Parks, and later that night went to the other hotel. We even took advantage of Online Check-In so didn't need to visit the Front Desk.

Unfortunately, luggage transfer service is only available between Disney Resort Hotels. My suggestion is for you to take a taxi, or Uber or Lyft to move your luggage and Check-In to your second hotel. It will still be a short ride and shouldn't take too long. In no time, you'll be back playing at a Theme Park.

One last tip: if you book a Vacation Package, you can add additional days to your Theme Park Tickets past your Check-Out. Be sure to speak with a Vacation Planning Specialist at (407) 939-1936. One question for you: what exit? See you real soon!
