Do Disney toilets have round or elongated seats? Im going to purchase foam/ plastic to add height. Requesting high toilet seems to remove option of king beds. Will be staying at Caribbean

    Hiya Dana!

Welcome to planDisney! I love these types of questions as they are the details that one really needs in life when planning a vacation. Toilet questions are truly important since the porcelain throne is the most important seat in your Resort room!

I have used several Disney Resort room toilets this year, and every single one has been elongated. I watched some room tours for Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, and I feel confident in my answer. I also know for a fact that many of the toilets are Kohler Highline Classic toilets (Model # K-4484), which Kohler states have "exceptional bulk flushing performance." Dana, oh boy, that is reassuring but I will not say much more about that. Let me resume my duties by sharing some more facts that may be helpful for you.

I love the recent room renovations at this Resort as they make the space so fresh and open. The mahogany-colored wood details and furnishings make the rooms feel much more updated. Dana, I learned that the accessible toilet seats tend to be a bit lower so getting a regular toilet seat that is at a "comfort" height may work best for you. If you find the room to not be accessible for you please speak to the Front Desk Cast Members as soon as you can to see if they can help.

A big tip I wish to share is to use the My Disney Experience Mobile App when in the Parks. Did you know that this app has a map feature that helps you locate the nearest restroom? I use it all the time and the app can even "map" a pathway for you to reach it quickly. Just click on the "map" symbol on the bottom of the app. (It looks like an upside teardrop) and on the top middle of the page select the category "Restrooms." You will then see all the nearby restrooms and you can tap on the one you want and then "Get Directions" which will then provide you with step-by-step walking directions. It has saved me quite a bit.

I hope that this helps and you have a magical time!

    Happy Planning!

My husband and I work very hard to journey to our favorite place on Earth, Walt Disney World Resort, as much as we can. We have traveled as just adults, with babies, kids, teenagers, and senior citizens. We have seen so many characters, eaten at amazing places, and consumed a ton of Dole Whips. So "give a little whistle" and let me be your guide! Learn More About Nimmy
