I have been to Disney 15 times and looking forward to number 16. However my wife has not been to DW, first trip. Traveling adults, no kids and suggestions on something special for a first time adult, empty nesters.

There is something special about coming to Walt Disney World without kids. While there may be a tinge of guilt, it can also be a great time for you both to experience the joy together at the Happiest Place on Earth. You both can act like kids again as you ride Space Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean. You should totally get her some Mickey Mouse Ears and a first timers button from City Hall at the Magic Kingdom. I would suggest that you make a reservation at one of the many great restaurants located at the World Showcase at Epcot. Here you two can walk past Italy, Mexico and Norway to name a few and it can be really romantic. As for a great meal you can choose your favorite. In the mood for Italian, then head over to Italy. I love a great meal in Germany for a rocking good time. I would make a point of watching one of the great fireworks shows like Illuminations in Epcot. I just know you both will have a magical time at the Happiest Place on Earth.

As a Los Angeles native I basically grew up at Disneyland. It has always been so easy to take my family on the short drive to the Happiest Place on Earth. Watching my daughters make magical memories reminds me why I keep coming back. Learn More About Ari
