Been to Disney many times but never with a child under 3. I know I don't need to purchase park tickets or the meal plans but how does it work for them to ride the rides and how do I set up fast pass for them. Any other comments will be helpful.

    Hi Debi,

Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel. Going with a child requires a more well planned trip. Make all your dinning reservations in advance. Bring everything that you will need, like for example: the cookies that he is uses to eat and the milk that he likes because there are stores that sells those products at the resorts, but you may not find the specific brand that you are looking for. Always have with you his favorite toy, a change of clothes, raingears and a coat. Take your own stroller or rent one. I, particularly, don’t like the ones that we can rent inside the parks because they are made of a hard plastic and they don’t recline. What you can bring from his home, will pass the child confidence and tranquility. Take advantage of the FastPass+ and you don’t have to schedule for them. Simple like that, don’t need a ticket, does not need a FastPass+ too. Only proceed to the attraction line with him. Always have something to bribe like the pacifier, a snack, a candy. Take advantage of the Baby Care Centers at all the parks, is a place where you can find some serenity and it’s quiet for you to feed, change and rest a little. If you can, stay in a resort served by the monorail, and if you find the necessity, go to your hotel to a nap after lunch and come back later for the rest of the day when the child is more rested. Don’t plan to show him everything in just one trip, you will have to come back to see what you weren’t able to see and all the eventual new rides and shows, the rhythm of this trip has to be more slow.

    Have fun at WDW!
