Going to Disney for the 1st time w/ my 4 yr old & 9 month old. What are the best places for us to stay and is there anything that I should bring or consider doing to make this trip easier. It's also my daughters birthday, any suggestions to make it spe

Congrats on your first trip to Walt Disney World!

There is no better place in the world to celebrate a birthday than Walt Disney World! We bring our kids on their birthday every year and they absolutely love celebrating their birthday at the most magical place on earth.

Make an Advanced Dining Reservation (ADR) for your daugther's birthday at one of the character meals, such as Cinderella's Royal Table, Chef Mickeys or Crystal Palace. Make a note on the ADR that you are celebrating her birthday. The Cast Member will bring out a special cupcake for her, complete with candles for her to make a wish.

When you arrive, ask a Cast Member for a birthday button for her. She will love hearing all of the Cast Members greet her with "Happy Birthday!" all day long.

As far as the best places to stay, The Polynesian is beautiful and convenient. It is on the monorail line for both Magic Kingdom and Epcot, so you can easily get back to your room after a day at the parks. You can also easily go back to your room for a nap, dip at the pool or just to relax, which will be critical for having kids ages 4 and 9 months.

Your kids will also love the pool there which has a volcano and slide. The food at 'Ohana is also delicious and kids love the breakfast at 'Ohana with Lilo and Stitch.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help you plan a magical vacation at Walt Disney World!

    Magically,
    Stacy
