Hi, we are going to Disney for the 1st time on June 20th. My daughter loves Jasmine. Are there any attractions or character dinners that I should make sure to see with her. My son loves anything to do with trains. Thanks

    Hi Lynda,

You must be so excited for your first Disney World vacation!

Your Jasmine fan is in luck.  There are several options for finding this princess in both Epcot and Magic Kingdom.  If you're looking for a character breakfast, try Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus in Epcot's Norway Pavilion.  Jasmine is often one of the featured princesses.  She can also be found in the Morocco Pavilion at select times throughout the day.

In the Magic Kingdom, I'm sure your daughter will want to ride The Magic Carpets of Aladdin in Adventureland.  Jasmine and Aladdin can also be found near this attraction for a meet and greet.  Jasmine also appears on screen in Mickey's PhilharMagic in Fantasyland.

Trains!  Walt Disney loved trains, and the Main Street Railroad Station is the first thing you see when you enter the Magic Kingdom.  You can board the authentic steam-train right on Main Street and get off at Frontierland, Toontown or make the entire loop around the park.

I'm not sure how tall your son is, but Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is one of the most popular attractions at the Magic Kingdom.  It's a roller coaster type attraction, and children must be 40" tall to ride.

There is also a miniature train set in the Germany Pavilion at Epcot.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
