Welcome to planDisney, Angela.
Taking your granddaughter to Walt Disney World is such a special treat, and I know you will make many magical memories together.
Angela, I'm guessing you are seeing these incorrectly listed ages in My Disney Experience. Changing a date of birth is straightforward when you have
linked accounts. Please open your My Disney Experience Account - your husband and granddaughter should be listed under My Family and Friends. When you click Update, there is a field to amend birthdates and other details.
As your adventure starts in the U.K. I assume you have purchased the
Magic Ticket for your grandchild and husband. These tickets are sold in two age brackets - 3-9 years old and above 10 years old (adult). As your granddaughter is 8, please ensure the correct ticket is assigned to the correct person. You can check this in the Tickets and Passes section of My Disney Experience. If you are continually having trouble amending these details, you can always speak to one of the helpful
Disney Experts. There are so many magical memories to make at Walt Disney World. Our children delight in seeing their favourite characters. If you're travelling with a little Disney Princess, I recommend looking at dining at
Cinderella's Royal Table at the Magic Kingdom Park or
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in EPCOT. Dining reservations open up 60 days ahead of your arrival.
I hope this information helps Angela, and I'd be delighted to answer any other of your Walt Disney World questions ahead of your trip. Enjoy the adventure, Louise.
