In the Disney themed hotel, can you book your preferred board? What is the breakfast like?

Greetings Patries! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. We are always happy to help plan your vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth!

It looks like you will be joining us this summer for your Disney adventure. As a guest of a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you are eligible to check-in for your reservation online in advance of your arrival. When you complete online check-in, you are able to make certain requests based on your resort. For example, you can request that your room be located on a specific floor, or in close proximity to the lobby, transportation, or elevators in some cases. While these requests are not guaranteed, I find that Cast Members do their best to accommodate guests' wishes.

If you are looking for a specific type or category of resort room, you will need to secure this at the time of booking. For example, at some resorts, such as Disney's Contemporary Resort, you are able to reserve a "Theme Park View" room that will give you a spectacular view of the Magic Kingdom Park from your balcony. Some resorts offer water or pool views as well.

Walt Disney World Resort Hotels provide a variety of options for breakfast. You will find table-service, quick-service, and grab-and-go meals available throughout the resorts. American favorites such as scrambled eggs, pancakes, bacon, and sausage are readily available, as are cereals and pastries. Don't miss trying the Mickey Waffles - they're a favorite in my family! In addition, some restaurants give you the opportunity to dine with your favorite Disney characters. These meals are quite popular, so I recommend making Advanced Dining Reservations through My Disney Experience up to 180 days in advance. Some of my favorite "breakfasts with character" are 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Cape May Café at Disney's Beach Club Resort.

I hope this helps you work out your resort and vacation plans, Patries. Don't forget to watch the Disney Parks Blog for announcements regarding summer events and attraction openings. Remy's Ratatouille Adventure is scheduled to debut at EPCOT this summer, and I can't wait for the arrival of that talented little chef! If there is anything else we can do for you as your trip approaches, please come back and see us again.

    Goede reis!
