Hey there, hi there, ho there, Erica! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney!
The magical day is almost here! Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is only a few days away. How excited are you right now? Let's help you make sure your plans are just right before you head for the Sunshine State!
Since all Guests must now make
Disney Park Pass theme park reservations, it's a great idea to think ahead a bit and decide which park you want to visit each day of your vacation. But even the most meticulous planner needs to change things up sometimes, so we'll walk through doing that right here. At the moment, Disney doesn't have a way to change an existing Disney Park Pass reservation, so you'll need to cancel your current reservation and make a new one. Before you do that, however, be sure to take a second to look at the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar to make sure the park you'd like to visit has openings that day. I just checked availability for the next week and the only day that might be a little tricky is Saturday, September 4. You'll see it's shaded in yellow on the calendar because there are no reservations left for EPCOT that day, so if you wanted to change your plans to put EPCOT on your itinerary, you'll probably want to consider it for a different day.
Once you've verified availability for the park you want to visit, hop into your
My Disney Experience account and go to "My Plans," then locate the reservation you're hoping to change. Follow the directions to cancel it, then switch back over to the Disney Park Pass page and make your new one. And that's it! New reservation secured!
Erica, I hope you have a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation wherever your travels happen to take you. Thank you so much for stopping by with your question, and please come see us again if you need any more info. We love to help other Guests plan their Disney days!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
