Hi there Randy,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for your question! It looks like you're getting a nice head start in planning your Disneyland Resort vacation for next year - you're in good company here!
As you mentioned, there were some recent improvements to the
Accessibility page on the Disneyland Resort website, which also included an update to the
Disability Access Service (DAS) to accommodate those Guests who, due to a developmental disability like autism or similar, are unable to wait in a conventional queue for an extended period of time.
However, the Accessibility page now has tabs that include a lot of other helpful information, tools, and resources for different situations as well! When it comes to
services for Guests with mobility disabilities, there is helpful information about wheelchairs and ECV rentals, wheelchair & EVC accessible attractions, general ambulatory requirements and more.
Additionally, for select attractions with harder to negotiate queues, Guests may be able to utilize the
Location Return Time feature to be assigned a return time comparable to the current standby wait. If you have more detailed questions about navigating the parks, you can also
email a Cast Member on the Disabilities Services team.
Thank you again for your question, Randy! I hope you have a wonderful visit to the Disneyland Resort.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
