Hi Disney Team! Will I be able to change my reservation dates? One of our family members tested + for Covid and we can't make it. Would I need to purchase another set of tickets?

Well hey there, Gabrielle! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your question. We know planning anything right now needs flexibility and I would be happy to help you get your question answered so that you can get to The Happiest Place on Earth as soon as possible.

I am happy to let you know that changing reservations is absolutely possible. In fact, it's just as easy as making reservations. You will not need to purchase another set of tickets. Let me walk you through the steps.

-Log in to your Disneyland account.
-Hover over "My Disneyland" and click on "Ticket and Reservation Details". Then, scroll down to "View My Park Reservations".
-Now you should see your ticket reservations listed. You can click "Cancel Reservation" and then follow the prompts to cancel the reservations for the tickets you select.
-From there, you should be able to also reschedule your tickets to another date for your ticket type.

Gabrielle, be sure to check out the upcoming events coming to Disneyland Resort that may coincide with your new reservation dates, like Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival. I always try to line up my visits with one of the fun festivals to enjoy all the exciting food and entertainment. I recommend keeping up with Disney Parks Blog for all of the most up-to-date information and news.

Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney. While having to reschedule plans is never ideal, I hope you are able to get new reservations and back to planning an epic adventure in the parks soon!

While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
