We will be at Disney 7-1 through 7-7 any suggestions on what to do on the 4th of July?

    Hi Amanda!

Congratulations on your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

My family has celebrated Independence Day at Magic Kingdom. Traditionally, a 4th of July enhanced fireworks display takes place there. "Disney's Celebrate America: A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky" is a 360 degrees fireworks extravaganza presentation featuring patriotic music themed to spectacular pyrotechnics. The special Independence Day fireworks display is generally shown both July 3rd and July 4th at Magic Kingdom. If you choose to visit Magic Kingdom either day, I recommend planning on getting there as early as possible and spending the remainder of the day at the park. Magic Kingdom reaches capacity early in the day during special holiday events. If you leave the park, or arrive too late in the day, there is a chance you will not be able to get in to watch the show.

At Epcot you may experience the "Voices of Liberty 4th of July Concert" shown at the America Gardens Theatre. It features the Spirit of America Fife & Drum Corps and several Disney characters. IllumiNations Reflections of Earth will feature a patriotic finale. In addition there is usually a fireworks display with a Rock 'n' Roll soundtrack at Disney's Hollywood Studios. In general, I would recommend visiting Magic Kingdom on the third and either Epcot or Disney's Hollywood Studios on the fourth.

    Enjoy celebrating Independence Day Disney-style!
