CAN I USE A DISNEY STORE GIFT CARDS TO PURCHASE TICKETS?

Hi Erika! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.

Disney Gift Cards are such a great gift and incredibly useful for the recipient. We love to ask for them for the holidays. Not only are they valid at the Disney Store and shopDisney.com, but they also can be used to purchase admission tickets to Disneyland Resort, pay for Disneyland Resort Hotel stays, dine in the parks, and more.

If you choose to pay for your admission ticket with a Disney Gift Card, I have a couple of important hints to pass along. First, if you have multiple cards, combine them. Do this by registering them on the Disney Gift Card website and transferring the balances from one card to another up to the maximum amount. Second, you can only use one method of payment when you're checking out, so you may need to break your admission ticket purchase into multiple transactions if your Disney Gift Card won't cover the total amount. Use what you have on the Disney Gift Card toward some of the tickets, and then put the remaining tickets on another method of payment in a second transaction.

If there's a balance leftover on your Disney Gift Card, bring it with you to the parks. You can use it on merchandise and dining. And while you can't save it as payment in the Disneyland mobile app, you can save the number in your Notes app on your mobile device and copy and paste the number for Mobile Orders.

    I hope this helps!
