Hi. When will Disney stop running the Paint the Night parade?

Heya, hiya, Kristien! It’s my pleasure to welcome you to planDisney!

It sounds like you're eagerly anticipating a visit to the Disneyland Resort, and what a fantastic question you have about the Paint the Night parade! This electrifying procession truly holds a special place in the hearts of many Guests, including mine. It transforms the entire parade route into a vibrant, illuminated spectacle each night, bringing beloved Disney stories to life with dazzling lights and catchy tunes. Knowing its schedule is key to planning your perfect park day, and I'm happy to share the latest news about its magical run so you can plan your visit around this unforgettable experience!

You'll be thrilled to hear that the Disney Parks Blog has confirmed this dazzling spectacle will continue to illuminate the night through the entire Halloween Time season! This means you can enjoy its radiant glow and lively energy through at least October 31, 2025. However, it will then take a brief pause during Holidays at the Disneyland Resort, which is scheduled to begin on November 14, 2025. While I can't say for certain if it will run in that short gap between the official end of Halloween Time and the start of the holiday festivities (sometimes the schedule can be a bit of a mystery, even for us!), I do know it will be stepping aside for the seasonal entertainment during that period.

If your visit happens to coincide with the winter cheer of the holidays, you'll still have so much to look forward to! This includes other fantastic 70th Celebration festivities like the breathtaking World of Color Happiness! at Disney California Adventure Park and the enchanting Tapestry of Happiness projection show on "it's a small world" at Disneyland Park. Plus, the entire resort transforms into a festive wonderland with unique holiday décor, special seasonal treats, and delightful character encounters, making it an incredibly merry time to visit.

And here’s some other great news, Kristien: Paint the Night is slated to make a triumphant return after the holidays! It’s part of the exciting Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration, an incredible, resort-wide event commemorating seven decades of magic at The Happiest Place on Earth, which is scheduled to run through at least summer of 2026! So, rest assured, there will be plenty of opportunities to experience this spectacular parade.

You can always find the most up-to-date information on entertainment schedules and park hours on the official Disneyland Resort website or, even better, by checking the Disneyland mobile app during your visit. This will help you plan your days to catch all the magic and ensure you don't miss any of the illuminated fun!

I hope this helps you plan your upcoming Disneyland adventure and that you have the most wonderfully enchanting time!
