Hi there, Linda - welcome back to planDisney!
Thanks for stopping by to ask another question for our team of panelists!
The benefits of being a registered Guest of a Disney Resort hotel, including complimentary standard
parking at the
Theme Parks, start on your day of check-in, even if your room isn't quite ready for you yet. There are several ways that the Cast Member at the parking booth will be able to verify that you are a registered Guest of a Disney Resort hotel.
If you have existing MagicBands linked to your My Disney Experience account, scanning your MagicBand will do the trick. You can also set up
Disney's MagicMobile service which essentially turns your compatible smartphone into a MagicBand of sorts. You can also simply show the Cast Member your reservation in the
My Disney Experience Mobile App on your smartphone.
I do have one suggestion for you to consider. If you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort
before your room at
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is ready, you can drop off your luggage with Bell Services at the Resort before going to
Disney's Hollywood Studios. If you've never made the mistake of leaving something in a hot car that shouldn't be, don't start now! The Florida sun can cook things pretty fast in a parking lot, and it's not pretty when toiletries start leaking and melting! As an added bonus, if you don't already have MagicBands or MagicMobile set up, the Front Desk at your Resort can help you, or can provide you with a Key to the World Card to make parking at Hollywood Studios a breeze!
I hope this information is helpful -
let us know if you have more questions for us!
