    Hi Michelle!

I have to say that your question stumped me a little because I never remember seeing any buttermilk in any of the Resorts of Walt Disney World.  So I enlisted the help of my fellow Moms to get you an answer to your question.  I would like to give a huge shout out and thanks to Erin F., Amanda P., and Amanda A. for their wisdom and advice!

I found out that you can make a buttermilk substitute from Erin F.:

This recipe originally comes from about.com:
    Prep Time: 5 minutes
    Total Time: 5 minutes
    Ingredients:

    * Milk (just under one cup)
    * 1 Tablespoon white vinegar or lemon juice

    1. Place a Tablespoon of white vinegar or lemon juice in a liquid measuring cup.

    2. Add enough milk to bring the liquid up to the one-cup line.

    3. Let stand for five minute. Then, use as much as your recipe calls for.

You can get lemons from the iced tea area in the food court and regular milk from the food court as well.

Amanda P. told me that she has used this buttermilk substitution and it works great!

Amanda A. told me that Hidden Valley Ranch sells dressing packets that you mix with regular milk and mayo, so they could just bring that instead of the packet that requires buttermilk.

I hope that the Ranch Dressing that you make while on your vacation to Walt Disney World is the best that you have ever tasted!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
