I am going Disney FL and staying at Disney Resort hotel with a 9, 6 and 3 yr old kids. Do you recommend meal plan and if so which type. I've never done it before and understand the options and value. Thanks in advance.

    Hi Suzanne,

Thanks for writing.  In my opinion, the Disney Dining Plan is a good value and a wonderful way to control what you spend on food during your vacation.  With the basic plan, everyone over three in your party will receive one table-service meal (sit down), one quick-service meal (counter service) and one snack per day.  Children under three are permitted to share from an adult plate and are not charged.  My boys and I have used the Dining Plan many times, and often find that we have more than enough food.

There are several dining plans to suite the appetites and budgets of many families, including a deluxe plan (to which you can add wine) and a quick service plan, for families who will primarily eat counter-style meals.

    Have a magical trip!
