I have been to Disney before and stayed at the Carribean Beach and All-Star Music. I have the resort refillable drink cups from both. Can we use either one one these and not purchase new ones. In the past, I think we remember people using old cups there

    Hi Susan,

This is probably not the answer that you are looking for but guests are only supposed to use their refillable mugs at the particular WDW Resort that they were purchased from and also only during the duration of the trip that it was purchased for.  There are signs posted in all of the food court beverage refill counters that do state this.

I do know however what it is that you are saying as I too have witnessed "older" mugs being used and even mugs that are from other WDW Resorts (as they do many times differ from resort to resort as well as different designs for the various themes and seasons of the year).  I am not sure what advice to give on that part of your question, only that I would be very embarrassed to have a cast member come and tell me that I was not allowed to use my "old" mug and have this happen in front of all the other guests standing there.  That is my personal opinion and there will always be rule breakers out there and yes! they usually do get away with it, but I am not sure it is really worth it for the the sake of paying another approx. $13.00 (I always get my moneys worth from buying the mugs on each trip and I feel better knowing that I am doing the right thing).  Good luck with whatever you decide to do. :)

    Best wishes,
