    When will Disney start New Year’s Eve celebrations

    Hello Dalton!

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with an excellent question!

    I cannot think of a better place to ring in the New Year than at the Walt Disney World Resort! You can celebrate at the theme parks, at Disney Resort hotels, and at Disney Springs!

    I am happy to share with you that two amazing celebrations will be offered at Disney’s Contemporary Resort this year to welcome 2019 in style! You can choose to between Pixar Party: a New Year’s Eve Celebration and Disney Countdown to Midnight.

    Pixar Party: a New Year’s Eve Celebration is the perfect event for families where you will find yourself immersed in the world of Disney Pixar films such as “Inside Out,” “The Incredibles,” “Finding Nemo” and “Up”, including meeting some of your favorite characters. I have friends who attended last year and simply loved it! A delicious buffet dinner is served and you get a special viewing location to watch the fireworks at midnight! Disney Countdown to Midnight is a beautiful event where you can dress up, dance and dine in the Fantasia Ballroom. Reservations for both events can be made at (407) 939-3463.
