Hi there, Pete,
Welcome to planDisney! I’m so glad you’ve stopped by to ask a question about Magic Kingdom’s newest nighttime parade:
Starlight - Dream the Night Away. It’s a shimmering processional with thousands of lights led by the magical Blue Fairy and is pure magic from start to finish. My kids loved it this summer - so much that we watched it twice!
I’m happy to share that Starlight is scheduled to continue into 2026, and since Disney hasn’t announced an end date, we expect this nighttime treat to be around for a good while. There are typically two viewings nightly (be sure to check the calendar for exact times). My family chose to catch the second parade, and it was much easier to snag a great spot to sit and watch. I recommend heading to Liberty Square or Frontierland and finding a place in front of the boardwalk pathway - you'll see the parade as it turns to make its way towards you!
For the early performance, the parade begins in Frontierland and finishes after making its way down Main Street U.S.A. and ending next to the Harmony Barber Shop. For the late parade, the route reverses, beginning near Town Square and ending in Frontierland near
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
Wishing you the best time as you enjoy the lights, music and magic along the parade route. If anything else pops up as you plan,
I’m here and happy to help!
See ya real soon,
Candace
